Ranchi, June 5: The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress has developed a comprehensive strategy for the Special Intensive Review (SIR) campaign. The party aims to monitor the voter list review process at the booth level, train workers, and extend the campaign to the panchayat and ward levels.
During a joint meeting held at the Old Assembly premises in Ranchi, state Congress secretaries, district in-charges, and state coordinators discussed organizational expansion and the SIR campaign as key agendas.
The meeting was chaired by state Congress president Keshav Mahto Kamlesh, while state in-charge K. Raju elaborated on the campaign’s framework and organizational responsibilities. District in-charges were instructed to oversee voter list issues in their respective areas, conduct comprehensive mapping, and regularly review the campaign’s progress.
Additionally, special training will be provided to Booth Level Agents (BLAs) to ensure their active participation over the month-long campaign. Party leaders emphasized that the Congress organization will monitor the campaign from the booth level to the state level, striving to ensure that no eligible voter is left out of the list. A strategy was also devised to identify potential errors and discrepancies in the voter list and raise them with the relevant authorities.
In the first session of the meeting, discussions lasted nearly three hours, focusing on the SIR process, associated technical challenges, and their solutions. Co-in-charge Bhupendra Singh Maravi and trainer Rahul Bol provided district in-charges with insights into various aspects of the campaign.
The second session involved meetings with Lok Sabha in-charges, co-in-charges, and assembly secretaries, where a plan was developed to effectively implement organizational activities and the SIR campaign at the district, block, panchayat, and municipal ward levels. Officials were also tasked with conducting regional tours to regularly review the campaign’s progress.
Several senior leaders and officials from the party were present at the meeting. The Congress stated that organizational meetings will continue in the coming days, with special reviews of the SIR campaign planned.
