Congress MLA Yogendra Singh Survives Car Accident in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal, June 4: Congress MLA Yogendra Singh Baba from Madhya Pradesh’s Lakhanadun was involved in a car accident that resulted in his vehicle catching fire. The incident left the MLA and two others injured.

According to reports, Singh was traveling on the National Highway from Jabalpur to Seoni when a cow unexpectedly crossed his path near the Herbal Garden Banjari High School in Dhuma. This caused the car to lose control and crash into the school’s boundary wall, igniting a fire. Fortunately, Singh, the driver, and a security personnel managed to escape the vehicle, although all three sustained injuries.

Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari expressed concern over the accident, wishing for Singh’s swift recovery. He posted on social media platform X, stating, “The news of the vehicle accident involving Lakhanadun MLA and my colleague in the Congress party, Yogendra Singh Baba Ji, is very distressing. I pray to God for his quick recovery and well-being. I hope he returns to public service soon.”

Opposition Leader in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly, Umang Singhar, also commented on X, saying, “On National Highway-34 (Seoni), Lakhanadun MLA Yogendra Singh Baba’s car lost control while trying to avoid a cow and crashed into a school boundary, resulting in a fire. The good news is that Singh and his companions were able to exit the vehicle safely, and there were no casualties.”

During the incident, passersby assisted Singh, his driver, and security personnel. All were transported to a hospital for treatment. The car was severely damaged, but it was fortunate that all three occupants escaped before the fire spread.
