Congress Leadership Fails to Manage Party, Says BJP MP Kamaljeet Sahrawat

New Delhi, May 29: BJP MP Kamaljeet Sahrawat has responded to Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s resignation, criticizing the Congress party’s national leadership for its inability to manage the party effectively.

Sahrawat stated, “Factionalism within the Congress party is evident. Wherever they form a government, internal conflicts harm the public’s interests. Rahul Gandhi plays a role in promoting this instability. The people of Karnataka voted for Congress in the name of development, but the party’s infighting has tarnished that trust.”

He further remarked, “Siddaramaiah’s statement clearly indicates that he had to follow orders from the high command. This is a significant betrayal of the people of Karnataka. Public interests have been completely overlooked due to internal factionalism. While this is an internal matter for Congress, the public will certainly evaluate it.”

Regarding the situation in Karnataka, the BJP MP noted that the factionalism among opposition parties is not only weakening their party but also affecting development projects in the regions where they govern. The public is ready to respond, as seen in several states, and this trend may soon be evident in others. “These leaders do not think in the interest of the public,” he added.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed Harsh Malhotra as the new Delhi state president. Expressing his happiness about this appointment, Sahrawat described Malhotra as a hardworking, capable, and dedicated leader who will elevate the party to new heights.

In an interview with a news agency, Sahrawat said, “Under our former state president Virendra Sachdeva, the BJP formed the government in Delhi. We have seven MPs, a municipal corporation, and the blessings of the public. Now that Harsh Malhotra has become the state president, he is also an MP and has previously played a significant role as the general secretary in the organization. He is a grassroots leader who understands the sentiments of party workers and the people of Delhi well. Under his leadership, the party will become stronger and continue to progress.”
