Patna, June 30: The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has announced an official notification for the direct recruitment of candidates for 65 Company Commander positions under the Home Department (Special Branch) of Patna. This recruitment will be based on a competitive examination.
The online application process for these vacancies commenced today, June 30, and the last date to apply is set for July 30. Eligible candidates wishing to apply for these positions can submit their registration forms on the official BPSSC website before the deadline.
Candidates must have completed their graduation or an equivalent examination from a recognized university or institution by August 1, 2025.
The minimum age for applicants is 20 years, while the maximum age is set at 37 years for men and 40 years for women, calculated as of August 1, 2025. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of qualified candidates will be based on a written competitive examination (preliminary and main exams), physical efficiency test, medical examination, verification of character and antecedents, and the final merit list. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary at Pay Level-6 under the 7th CPC.
While filling out the application form, all candidates must pay the prescribed application fee of ₹100 online. It is important to note that only those registration forms will be accepted after successful payment of the application fee.
