New Delhi, June 1: The prices of commercial LPG have risen once more. Starting Monday, the cost of a 19-kilogram commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has increased by ₹42, bringing the new price to ₹3,113.50 per cylinder.
In Kolkata, the increase is even steeper, with prices rising by ₹53.50, making the cost ₹3,255.50 per cylinder.
The hike in prices is attributed to rising fuel and transportation costs. Oil marketing companies have also raised the price of 5-kilogram free trade LPG (FTL) cylinders by ₹11, which now costs ₹821.50 in Delhi. Fortunately for domestic consumers, there has been no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders, providing them some relief.

Earlier this year, there was a ₹49 increase in February, followed by another ₹115 rise in March. April saw the largest increase of ₹993 per cylinder. Now, as of June 1, prices have risen again.
