Burhanpur, February 13: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh will attend a program on February 14 in Burhanpur district, organized jointly by the state’s agriculture and horticulture departments.

The Chief Minister will address a gathering of farmers and announce several projects totaling ₹362.15 crore. These initiatives will focus on infrastructure, public amenities, agriculture, and other sectors.

According to the Chief Minister’s office, he will also inaugurate 32 completed development projects worth ₹334.22 crore across various parts of Burhanpur district.

A statement noted, “These projects related to infrastructure, public facilities, agriculture, and other sectors will accelerate the overall development of the district. On this occasion, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will distribute benefits to beneficiaries under various government schemes.”

Yadav will participate in a roadshow starting from Jijamata Square in the Shikarpura police station area, proceeding to Nehru Stadium. Residents of the district will welcome and honor the Chief Minister along the route.

A development exhibition showcasing government schemes and achievements will be set up at the event site by the agriculture, horticulture, and other departments.

In anticipation of the Chief Minister’s visit, the district administration and local representatives from the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have begun preparations for the event.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Devendra Patidar inspected the event location on Wednesday and requested a detailed plan for security and parking arrangements to ensure smooth access for attendees.

Heavy police security will be deployed inside and outside the event venue to ensure safety during the Chief Minister’s visit. This comes after a significant security breach during Yadav’s recent visit to Shahdol, where a group of Congress workers attempted to block his convoy from the Lalpur airport to the event site.
