Dehradun, May 24: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has urged devotees to visit the Maa Anusuya Temple located in Chamoli district. He made this appeal through a social media post, highlighting the annual fair and religious rituals associated with the temple.
In his post on the platform ‘X’, he described the Maa Anusuya Temple as a sacred center of faith, penance, and spiritual energy nestled in the picturesque valleys of Chamoli. This ancient temple is dedicated to Goddess Anusuya, where grand fairs and religious ceremonies are held annually in celebration of Dattatreya Jayanti, filled with devotion and enthusiasm. He encouraged everyone to visit this holy site upon arriving in Chamoli district.
Just a day earlier, on May 23, he announced on ‘X’ that the doors of Shri Hemkund Sahib Ji have been ceremoniously opened for devotees. He expressed, “Jo bole so nihaal… Sat Sri Akal!”
He added, “The doors of Shri Hemkund Sahib Ji, a symbol of faith, penance, and service, have been opened today with full rituals for the devotees. We warmly welcome all pilgrims from across the country and abroad to the divine land of Uttarakhand. Our government is fully committed to making the pilgrimage easy, safe, and convenient.”
In his post, he emphasized that Shri Hemkund Sahib, located in Chamoli district, is a revered center of unwavering faith for countless devotees. Situated in the serene valleys of the Himalayas, this sacred site is not just a religious place but also a source of spiritual energy, mental peace, and divine experiences. He encouraged visitors to ensure they visit this holy site when arriving in Chamoli district.
