Beijing, June 4: The Chongqing International Animation Film Week will take place from June 9 to June 13 in the Yongchuan District of Chongqing, China. This was announced during a press conference organized by the China Media Group and the Chongqing municipal government.
The event is co-hosted by the Chongqing Film Bureau, the Yongchuan District government, and the Chongqing station of the China Media Group.
This year’s theme, “Infinite Knowledge, Splendid Glory,” aims to create a platform for international animation exchange and promote the high-quality development of China’s animation film industry.
The film week will feature a variety of events, including an opening ceremony, academic seminars, masterclasses, exhibitions showcasing animation creativity and technological achievements, matchmaking and contract signing for industry professionals, an animation-themed market, screenings of outstanding animation films, and a “City Tour with One Ticket” film season.
These activities will incorporate professional guidance, industry collaboration, and public participation.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for the evening of June 9 at the Chongqing Yongchuan Science and Technology Film Studio. According to officials, this ceremony will blend a world-class animation film music program with a Chinese animation film carnival, showcasing a century of Chinese animation history through classic animation tunes.
