Political Turmoil Erupts Over Neha Boras Bangladesh Statement
Neha Boras remarks linking Bangladesh to revolution spark political backlash, with BJP accusing opposition of foreign influence.

New Delhi, October 15 (Daily Kiran) : Political tensions have escalated in New Delhi following remarks made by Neha Bora, president of the All India Students Association. Her statement, suggesting that “Bangladesh has shown the path of revolution,” has drawn sharp criticism from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The party claims her comments are anti-national and accuse the opposition of acting under the influence of foreign powers.
BJP MP Rahul Sinha from West Bengal targeted Rahul Gandhi and his supporters, asserting, “What Rahul Gandhi is doing is an attempt to create instability in the country with the help of foreign forces and funding. But this is not Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, or Nepal; this is India. Democracy is deeply rooted in the hearts of the Indian people, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi holds a special place in their hearts.”
Sinha further condemned Bangladesh, stating it has become a haven for Pakistani terrorists, and called it unfortunate to consider applying such a model in India.
In Mumbai, Kunwar Basit Ali, national president of the BJP’s minority front, questioned the motives behind the ongoing protests led by the India Block. He stated, “This movement focuses on four individuals—Rahul Gandhi, Neha Bora, Deepak, and now Imran Khan. None of them have any connection to India’s interests. They are driven by foreign modules and funding, aiming to weaken our democratic system.”
BJP leader Mrityunjay Tiwari in Patna emphasized that while protests are a democratic right, they should not lead to chaos. He remarked, “The gathering of disruptive elements under the guise of protest is unacceptable to our country. The public is now driving them away.”
Tuhin Sinha, a national spokesperson for the BJP in Mumbai, criticized Rahul Gandhi for previously declaring, “I am fighting against the Indian state,” suggesting that his actions confirm this was not a mere coincidence but a deliberate strategy.
Sinha also highlighted Neha Bora’s past statements advocating for a change in power in India similar to Nepal and Bangladesh, indicating a clear agenda.
In Ranchi, BJP spokesperson Pratul Shah Dev noted that the faces of those involved in creating unrest are becoming clearer. He accused the CJP, AAP, and India Block of colluding to spread chaos, asserting that the public is aware of their intentions and will not allow them to succeed.
