Madhuri Dixit and Dr. Shriram Nene Celebrate 27 Years of Marriage

Mumbai, October 15 (Daily Kiran) : Actress Madhuri Dixit and her husband, cardiologist Dr. Shriram Nene, celebrated 27 years of marriage on October 15. The couple marked this special occasion by reminiscing about the day they began their journey together.

Dr. Nene shared unseen photos from their wedding at the Beverly Hills courthouse on Instagram, offering a glimpse into their beautiful beginning. The images captured the couple exchanging rings and celebrating with family and friends.

In his post, Dr. Nene wrote, “Twenty-seven years ago at the Beverly Hills courthouse, we promised to stand by each other for life and began the most beautiful journey. We had no idea where life would take us, but we knew we wanted to live it together. After two wonderful sons, countless memories, some challenges, endless laughter, and a lifetime of love, I would still choose you today.”

He continued, “Happy 27th anniversary, my love, for the beautiful journey we’ve shared and all the new chapters to come. Always together.” When Madhuri wed Shriram on October 17, 1999, she was one of the biggest stars in Hindi cinema. Their wedding in California was kept extremely private.

The news of their marriage was so discreet that even those in the industry learned about it later. After their wedding, Madhuri lived in Denver, USA, for a while, which left her fans heartbroken. The couple has two sons, Arin and Ryan.

After spending a few years in the United States, Madhuri returned to India to make her comeback in Bollywood. She starred in the film “Aaja Nachle” in 2007 after a long break. She later appeared in the hit song “Ghaghra” from “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” and also acted in films like “Dedh Ishqiya” and “Gulab Gang.”
