
Mumbai, March 27: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited the families affected by a tragic road accident in Chhindwara district, Madhya Pradesh, on Friday. The accident occurred late Thursday evening when a bus returning from a beneficiary conference collided with a truck and overturned.
During his visit, the Chief Minister offered condolences and assured the families that the government stands with them and will provide all possible assistance. He met with the relatives of the deceased at Karer village in the Mohkhed tehsil, offering them comfort during this difficult time.
Yadav stated that the government is committed to ensuring the best medical treatment for the injured. Under his directives, families of the deceased will receive financial aid of four lakh rupees each, while those seriously injured will receive one lakh rupees each.
He emphasized that all injured individuals will receive free medical treatment. A control room has been established in the health department in Bhopal to monitor the treatment of the injured continuously.
The accident resulted in the loss of ten lives, including six men, three women, and one child, with over twenty others injured. The injured are currently being treated in various hospitals. On Friday, the last rites for the deceased were conducted, and the village mourned collectively as multiple cremations took place, echoing the sorrow throughout the community.
