Chetna Pandey Speaks Out on Film Choices: I Want Powerful Roles, Not Just Screen Time

Mumbai, June 23: Actress Chetna Pandey is receiving positive feedback for her recent film, “Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past.” Amid this success, she shared insights about her career, film selections, and future plans.

Chetna expressed her desire to participate only in projects that advance her as an artist and leave a lasting impact on audiences.

In an interview, Chetna stated, “At this stage of my career, I don’t want to limit myself to any specific type of character or film genre. After working in a horror film, I’ve realized the strength of this genre, so I would like to continue exploring horror films. However, I don’t want to be confined to just this genre. My biggest dream as an artist is to continuously surprise myself and my audience with new roles.”

She added, “I want to portray characters that challenge me emotionally, mentally, and physically, pushing me to grow. Whether it’s a big commercial film, a thriller, or a biopic, what matters most to me is that my character remains in the audience’s minds for a long time.”

Chetna emphasized, “I don’t need a lot of screen time. I prefer roles that have substance and the power to convey a message. I want to be part of stories that provoke thought rather than just showcase glamour. Each new project should elevate me beyond my previous work and teach me something new.”

Reflecting on her experiences, she said, “I’m still trying to understand and feel this entire journey. When an artist works hard on a film for a long time, faces various challenges, and hopes the audience will appreciate their work, it’s not easy to grasp that moment of success immediately.”

Expressing her joy over the success of “Haunted 3D,” Chetna said, “The past few days have been more about gratitude than celebration. I first spoke to my family, friends, and those who supported me every step of the way. The greatest joy for me is that my loved ones are happy with my success.”
