Hyderabad, February 20: Central ministers have launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi following a protest by the Youth Congress at the ongoing India AI Impact Summit in New Delhi. The protest reportedly involved members demonstrating without shirts.

Union Minister for Coal and Mines, G. Kishan Reddy, accused Gandhi of engaging in cheap politics, claiming his disgraceful actions have confused India’s youth and entrepreneurs.

The protest was directed against Prime Minister Modi and the proposed India-U.S. trade agreement, which Congress argues compromises India’s sovereignty.

Reddy took to social media platform ‘X’ to express his discontent, stating that under Gandhi’s direction, Congress workers tarnished the AI Summit by behaving like “goons and thugs” while shirtless.

He emphasized, “While India celebrates clear and concrete outcomes from the AI Summit, it is essential to expose Rahul Gandhi’s cheap politics and disgraceful behavior. This is a significant insult to the enthusiasm and entrepreneurship of our youth. Instead of encouraging them, Rahul Gandhi is spreading negativity and discouraging them.”

Reddy further asserted that none of Gandhi’s actions prioritize India’s interests. He claimed that Gandhi uses every platform to undermine India’s progress and present it negatively. The Indian public is now convinced that Gandhi is entirely compromised and working against the country’s advancement.

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, remarked, “Congress has gone mad. What a ridiculous double standard. At the AI Summit, Congress is creating a ruckus and engaging in cheap theatrics under Rahul Gandhi’s direction.”

Kumar also noted that at the same venue, Telangana’s Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was congratulating Prime Minister Modi for bringing together some of the world’s best minds.

In a post on X, Bandi Sanjay stated, “One party, two faces, zero dignity. This is not opposition; it is an insult to the nation. This reflects a disorder in political mentality. When the tricolor is flying high on the global stage, you do not engage in cheap politics at the gate. Country first, always.”
