CBSE Warns: Errors in Exam Forms Could Lead to Disqualification

New Delhi (Patrika English News): The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a strict warning to schools and students of Classes 10 and 12 for the 2025-26 board exams. The Board has made it clear that any mistakes in the List of Candidates (LOC) form could lead to serious consequences, including disqualification from the exam.

Errors to Avoid

Students must ensure that details such as subject codes, name spelling, and date of birth are entered accurately. Incorrect entries can cause issues at the examination centre and may result in cancellation of candidature.

Schools have been specifically warned to ensure that the student details in the LOC match the admission records. The CBSE has emphasised that incorrect subject codes or spelling mistakes must be avoided at all costs.

Correction Window Dates

To provide relief, CBSE will open a correction window from October 13 to October 27, 2025. During this period, schools can correct errors online through the official website cbse.gov.in. However, an additional fee may be charged for corrections. After corrections are made, verification slips will be issued for each student.
