Mumbai, March 13: Actor Diljit Dosanjh is set to release his highly anticipated romantic drama film, ‘Main Wapas Aaoonga.’ The film beautifully captures themes of love, separation, and the emotions tied to long waits. On Friday, the filmmakers unveiled the teaser.
The teaser presents an intense glimpse into a nostalgic love story. It showcases a different look of Sharvari. The scene opens with a dialogue between Diljit Dosanjh and Naseeruddin Shah, where Naseeruddin is seen lying on a bed while Diljit visits him.
In the background, Diljit provides a brief insight into the story, stating, “This is a romantic tale that has been on my grandfather’s mind for many years.” The narrative then takes us back to the love story of Sharvari and Vedang Raina, culminating in a poignant moment where Vedang, in tears, says, “Main Wapas Aaoonga” while boarding a train.
Towards the end of the teaser, Diljit adds, “If we stay alive, like, comment, subscribe, hashtag partition.” This line hints that the film’s plot may revolve around a love story intertwined with the theme of India’s partition. Vedang Raina’s emotional dialogue, “Main Wapas Aaoonga,” encapsulates the essence of the entire film.
