No Shortage of LPG Cylinders in Bhandara, District Collector Assures Residents

Bhandara, March 13: The District Collector of Bhandara, Sawan Kumar, has reassured residents that there is no shortage of LPG cylinders, despite circulating rumors. In a video message, he urged the public not to panic.

Kumar stated that there is a sufficient supply of cylinders available. He advised residents not to purchase cylinders at inflated prices if approached by anyone and to report such incidents to the authorities for immediate action.

He appealed to the public to disregard any social media posts claiming a shortage of cylinders, emphasizing that these claims are unfounded. “There is absolutely no need for concern; we have enough cylinders in stock,” he affirmed.

The District Collector also mentioned reports of black marketing and hoarding amid the rumors of a shortage. He reiterated that there is no reason for anyone to feel anxious about the situation.

“We are fully committed to serving the public and ensuring that no one faces any difficulties. We have established a comprehensive plan to address any issues promptly,” Kumar added.

Concerns about potential price hikes for LPG cylinders following attacks on Iran by the US and Israel have contributed to public anxiety. In light of these developments, the District Collector has taken the initiative to clarify the situation.
