BTS Recruitment: Applications Open for 11 Food Analyst Positions

Patna, June 15: A golden opportunity has emerged for youth preparing for government jobs. The Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) in Patna has invited applications for a total of 11 Food Analyst positions in the Health Department. The vacancies include 2 unreserved, 1 for the Economically Weaker Section, 2 for Scheduled Castes, 4 for Extremely Backward Classes, and 2 for Backward Classes. Candidates have only a few days left to apply, with the deadline set for June 19.

The online application process for these positions began on May 20. Eligible candidates wishing to fill out the application form can submit their registration on the official commission website before the final date.

Applicants must hold a graduation, master’s, or doctorate degree in relevant fields such as Chemistry, Microbiology, Dairy Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Animal Science, Fisheries Science, Biotechnology, Food Safety, Food Technology, Food and Nutrition, Dairy Technology, or Oil Technology from a recognized institution or university. Additionally, candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in the relevant field and meet other specified eligibility criteria.

The minimum age for applicants is 21 years, while the maximum age is set at 37 years for unreserved males and 40 years for unreserved females, calculated as of August 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

When filling out the application form, candidates must pay a prescribed application fee of ₹100. Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a computer-based test (CBT) consisting of multiple-choice questions, followed by document verification. Selected candidates will receive a salary ranging from ₹9,300 to ₹34,800, along with a grade pay of ₹5,400 per month.
