New Delhi, May 4: The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Limited announced on Monday that it resolved 183 investor complaints against 117 companies during April 2026. This figure includes complaints that were pending from the previous reporting period.
During this month, the exchange received 168 new complaints against 117 companies, while a total of 183 complaints were addressed across 128 companies. This indicates that more cases were resolved than new complaints received during this period.
According to the exchange, the resolved complaints included previously pending cases, showcasing its ongoing commitment to effective complaint resolution on its platform.
As of April 2026, three companies had the highest number of complaints pending for over a month. JSW Steel Limited topped the list with nine pending complaints, followed by Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) with four, and HBL Engineering Limited with three. However, the BSE did not disclose the nature of these complaints.
In comparison, in February 2026, the BSE resolved 150 complaints against 114 companies, while receiving 113 new complaints against 94 companies that month. Again, the number of resolved complaints exceeded new ones.
In December 2025, the exchange addressed 109 complaints against 92 companies, while 141 new complaints were registered against 113 companies, indicating a higher number of new complaints than resolutions that month.

These statistics suggest that the complaint resolution process has remained active over the past few months, although fluctuations in incoming and resolved complaints are observed based on market activities and investor participation.
