BJPs Vision for a Prosperous Punjab: Nitin Naveens Call to Action

Jalandhar, June 21: BJP National President Nitin Naveen stated on Sunday that Punjab not only protects India’s borders but also safeguards the soul of the nation. The primary agenda of the BJP is to pull the state out of its current crisis and make it safe, prosperous, and strong.

Speaking at a Sant Conference in Jalandhar, Naveen engaged with saints and spiritual leaders from across the state. He emphasized, “Punjab is not just a state; it is the land of the teachings of gurus, the penance of saints, and the blood of martyrs. It symbolizes a living tradition of service, dedication, and sacrifice.”

Addressing the ongoing drug problem in Punjab, the BJP chief urged every Gurudwara committee, ashram, dera head, and temple committee to commit to helping people overcome addiction. He remarked, “Guiding society has been a tradition of saints in India. If all religious organizations come together, no force can change Punjab’s situation.”

Nitin Naveen highlighted that Guru Nanak Dev taught humanity the values of unity and equality. This land bears witness to the penance of Guru Arjun Dev and pays homage to the supreme sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur. It holds the bravery of Guru Gobind Singh, the unparalleled sacrifice of Sahibzadas, and the immortal message of ‘Sarbat da Bhala’ (welfare for all).

During his three-day visit to the state, the BJP leader noted, “Every particle of Punjab’s soil reminds us that a nation is not run solely by power; it is shaped by the values imparted by saints, and the soul of India resides within them.”

He added that while rulers may change, the soul of India remains constant. “Whenever society has strayed, saints have shown the right path. When darkness has increased, saints have ignited the light of hope, and whenever there has been division in society, saints have worked to unite people.”

Nitin Naveen reiterated the BJP’s commitment to ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’, reflecting the great principle of ‘Sarbat da Bhala’. He envisions a governance model for Punjab where every religion, sect, dera, and community progresses with equal respect and dignity.

He promised a Punjab where peace prevails, brotherhood flourishes, and education and employment replace drugs in the hands of youth.

The BJP chief concluded, “This appeal is not political. As a humble servant, I stand before all of you saints seeking guidance to create a Punjab where Nanak’s teachings resonate, where society is shaped by Guru Ravidas’s principles, where Maharishi Valmiki is honored, and where Baba Jeevan Singh’s sacrifice inspires the youth.”
