BJP Workers Confident of Neeraj Kumar Sinhas Victory in Bankipur By-Election

Patna, August 3: The counting of votes for the Bankipur Assembly by-election commenced at 8 AM today. Ahead of the results, members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are optimistic about their candidate’s success. Preparations for celebrations are already underway, with plans to distribute 200 quintals of sweets.

Krisna Kumar Kallu, a member of the BJP’s state working committee, expressed confidence in Neeraj Kumar Sinha’s grand victory. “We are preparing for a significant celebration. We are making 200 quintals of sweets to share with the public. Sweets will be distributed to supporters starting at 11 AM,” he stated.

He added that the BJP’s victory is assured. “We are determined to ensure Neeraj Kumar Sinha wins from Bankipur,” he emphasized.

BJP worker Satyaprakash also predicted a substantial win for their candidate. “We have been preparing in advance to convey this message to the people. We are making sweets to celebrate the blooming lotus once again in Bankipur. A wave of joy will sweep through the public after the results,” he noted.

He further mentioned that those with insincere intentions would vanish after the results. “We are fully confident in our candidate’s victory because we have worked hard on the ground. Even when the BJP had a minority of legislators in Bihar, Bankipur remained with the party. We are set to repeat this in the by-election,” he asserted.

The counting for the Bankipur by-election began at A.N. College in Patna at 8 AM, starting with postal ballots. The counting of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) began at 8:30 AM. The BJP has fielded Neeraj Kumar Sinha, while Prashant Kishor, founder of the Jan Suraj Party, is also contesting. Rekha Gupta represented the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in this election.
