Mumbai, September 5 (Daily Kiran) : Indian politician Pratima Bagri, a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, underscored the significance of events like the Global Impact Forum in promoting cultural exchange and understanding. Speaking in Mumbai on September 5, she welcomed India’s rising GDP and called on the youth to step forward for a “developed India.”
During her address, Bagri remarked, “This is a magnificent example of unity in diversity. People from various countries showcased their cultures, arts, and architecture, demonstrating unity on a single platform despite our differences. India is now leading with its art, culture, and architecture. This event provides a significant opportunity for Indians to appreciate international art and to give global recognition to our traditions.”
She noted that every country has its own culture and architecture. When these are presented in India, it offers a broader understanding, as people here are well-versed in their own culture. Presenting foreign art and culture in India is well-known, allowing for mutual appreciation, a concept widely promoted at forums like the BRICS summit. “We can say that we are now adopting this and learning from it,” she added.
Bagri emphasized Prime Minister Modi‘s vision for India to become a developed nation by 2047. She urged participation in such programs, stressing that mere attendance is not enough. It is essential to address the needs of all nations, including our own. She called upon the younger generation to engage actively in these events and to work on initiatives that are crucial for the country’s advancement.
Another attendee remarked on the successful kickoff of Global Impact Forum 2, expressing gratitude for Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s presence and support. She highlighted the importance of efforts that promote harmony, peace, and a commitment to giving back to the community.
