BJP Leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi Criticizes Mamata Banerjees Governance in West Bengal

New Delhi, April 3: Senior BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has launched a scathing attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He asserted that her departure from the state is inevitable this time. He likened her current predicament to that of a “frustrated cat scratching a pole,” suggesting that her position is untenable in the current political landscape.

In an interview with a news agency on Friday, Naqvi highlighted the deteriorating law and order situation in West Bengal, pointing out that even judicial officials are being kidnapped. He questioned what the state government is doing in such alarming circumstances, lamenting the lack of action taken to address these issues.

Naqvi claimed that Banerjee has systematically attacked constitutional institutions, leading to the abduction of judicial officials. He noted that the current state of affairs in West Bengal is well-known and cannot be hidden from the public.

He further stated that Banerjee is now aware that her exit from the state is certain. He warned her that attempting to target constitutional bodies like the ED and CBI for political gain is a grave misunderstanding on her part.

Naqvi emphasized that having been in power for so long, it is Banerjee’s moral duty to present an account of her actions to the public.

Additionally, he criticized Asaduddin Owaisi’s statements, suggesting that some individuals resort to secular theatrics as elections approach. He asserted that these people do not genuinely seek to empower the Muslim community but rather exploit them for political advantage. He urged them to refrain from any divisive rhetoric.

He also pointed out that while the country is progressing towards comprehensive development, some individuals refuse to acknowledge this. They attempt to inject communalism into every developmental issue, which Naqvi firmly stated will not be tolerated.

Moreover, he praised the current central government’s approach during crises, stating that their efforts deserve commendation. He noted that despite global turmoil, the Indian government is diligently working to safeguard the interests of all societal segments. He reiterated that India advocates for developmental policies rather than expansionist ones.
