Kasganj Police Tops State Rankings for Timely Complaint Resolution

The Kasganj Police have achieved first place in Uttar Pradesh for resolving public complaints promptly under the IGRS system.

Lucknow, November 3 (Daily Kiran) : The Uttar Pradesh government is ensuring that every complainant’s issues are addressed in a timely manner. In a recent evaluation, the Kasganj Police have emerged as the top performer in the state for resolving public grievances, according to the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS) rankings for October 2026.

Under the leadership of Superintendent of Police O.P. Singh and the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Alok Singh, the Kasganj Police achieved a perfect score of 125 out of 125. This accomplishment reflects their commitment to addressing complaints seriously and efficiently.

Superintendent Singh emphasized that listening to every complainant and ensuring quality resolutions is a priority aligned with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision. He noted that the teamwork among all police station heads, Circle Officers, and the IGRS cell has led to this success, making Kasganj the number one in the state.

In recognition of this achievement, SP O.P. Singh congratulated all officers and reiterated the importance of continuing this level of service. He stated that delivering justice to victims remains the primary goal of the police force.

In a related development, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently announced a significant subsidy for over 1.89 crore families in the state, providing support for cooking gas cylinder refills during the Diwali festival. He indicated that the government plans to introduce a substantial package soon to compensate farmers for crop losses and promote women’s economic independence.

During an event at Lok Bhawan, the Chief Minister transferred ₹1,500 crore directly to eligible beneficiaries’ bank accounts under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. He explained that the cost of a filled cylinder is ₹983.45, with the central government providing a subsidy of ₹335.40. This subsidy means beneficiaries can now receive cylinders for free, allowing them to save money for Diwali celebrations.

The Chief Minister also announced upcoming initiatives for farmers and women, highlighting the need for immediate compensation due to climate impacts such as excessive rainfall and drought. He assured that the government would soon introduce a special economic package for the state’s three crore farming families and initiatives aimed at empowering women to achieve self-sufficiency.
