Ranchi, October 13 (Daily Kiran) : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a sharp critique of the opposition’s recent “high tea” gathering, called by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for members of the India Block. Aditya Sahu, the BJP’s state president, stated that such attempts have been made numerous times before and are of no relevance to the citizens of the country.
Sahu emphasized that if the assets of these politicians were assessed, they would all be found to be billionaires, regardless of whether they lead regional or national parties. He remarked, “This is an alliance formed for their own benefit. Alliances based solely on self-interest can never succeed.”
Regarding the opposition’s march to the Supreme Court and their joint petition, Sahu accused Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party of participating in actions that weaken the nation. He claimed that their intent is to undermine the country and allow foreign powers to gain influence. Distrust in constitutional institutions, whether the Election Commission or the Supreme Court, is a hallmark of their political strategy.
In a related statement, former Kerala BJP president Kummanam Rajasekharan accused Congress of attacking constitutional institutions to instigate chaos in the country. He noted that Congress has finally raised its voice against the Supreme Court, seeking to exploit its shortcomings while undermining these institutions. He argued that their actions in Parliament have effectively halted proceedings, as they failed to allow the Speaker to conduct sessions properly.
