
New Delhi, May 31: Harsh Malhotra, the President of the Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), stated on Sunday that the party’s goal is not merely to gain power but to serve the public through governance. He emphasized the party’s commitment to transforming India into a developed nation and a global leader.
Malhotra made these remarks during the closing ceremony of training sessions held for all 14 districts and 252 wards of the Delhi BJP under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Maha Training Campaign. This initiative is organized by the party every three years.
He provided guidance on the BJP’s operations in the Chandni Chowk and Keshav Puram districts and discussed the party’s scheduled programs for June.
Outgoing Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva addressed sessions on labor development and welfare in both districts. Meanwhile, Organization General Secretary Pawan Rana spoke at the closing session in Chandni Chowk, and BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal addressed the session in Keshav Puram.
They discussed organizational matters and the benefits of a three-tier government structure for the people of Delhi. BJP Media Head Praveen Shankar Kapoor highlighted the importance and utilization of media in the current political landscape during sessions in both districts.
Senior BJP leader Yogesh Atri addressed practical communication in Chandni Chowk, while BJP MLA Ashok Goyal spoke on the same topic in Keshav Puram. Social Media Head Rohit Upadhyay discussed the significance and effective use of social media in both districts.
Malhotra noted that the BJP is the world’s largest political party, boasting over 170 million members, which brings with it significant responsibility. He added that the party has faced numerous challenges and is currently in power across 22 states in the country.
In 1964, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay presented a vision for work that led to the development of a defined operational methodology.
