Bittu Responds to Bhagwant Manns Allegations: PM Modis Clean India Policy Will Clear the Mess

Chandigarh, April 15: Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu has strongly countered allegations from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) regarding the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) raids on Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Mittal’s properties. He clarified that these actions are not politically motivated but are part of an investigation into alleged corruption.

In a post on the social media platform X, Minister Bittu stated, “Bhagwant Mann, your party is a haven for thieves and looters. The people of Punjab are filing cases against state ministers, and investigative agencies are apprehending corrupt MPs. PM Modi’s policy is ‘Clean India,’ and under this, the mess will surely be cleared.”

The ED conducted significant raids on Wednesday, targeting multiple locations associated with AAP’s Ashok Mittal and his son. The operations spanned approximately 8 to 9 sites, including Gurugram, Punjab, and Jalandhar.

Sources indicate that the agency’s teams are examining documents at their homes, farmhouses, and other properties. Additionally, the ED team visited Lovely Professional University, where they scrutinized records related to financial transactions and funding. Reports suggest that irregularities linked to certain funds at the university triggered this action.

In response, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann took to social media, suggesting that the raids are an attempt to politicize the situation. He described it as a potential strategy ahead of the Punjab elections, characterizing it as typical Modi style. Mann asserted that his party would not succumb to any pressure.

In his post, Mann emphasized that his party is not in a weak position and is prepared to face any challenge.
