Bihar Minister Accuses Owaisi of Disrupting Social Harmony

Patna, September 16 (Daily Kiran) : In Patna, Bihar Minister Ram Kripal Yadav has responded sharply to comments made by Asaduddin Owaisi, the leader of AIMIM, regarding the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). Yadav accused Owaisi of attempting to disrupt social harmony within the state.

Speaking to reporters, Yadav expressed concern over Owaisi’s rhetoric, suggesting it creates a negative atmosphere and undermines the peace that exists across various regions of the country. He emphasized that the government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is committed to maintaining order and protecting all citizens. “Owaisi and others like him seek to disturb this harmony,” he stated.

The minister also addressed upcoming celebrations for Prime Minister Modi’s birthday on September 17, marking 25 years of his leadership. Yadav announced that a month-long “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan” will feature various events in honor of the occasion.

Additionally, Yadav commented on the recent flooding in Bihar, which has affected approximately 5 million people. A committee led by Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan conducted aerial surveys of the impacted areas. Yadav assured that the central government would provide full support in addressing any challenges that arise. The state government has already assessed the situation and dispatched ministers to the affected districts. He mentioned that relief efforts include distributing rations and providing shelter through community kitchens.

In a separate incident, many attendees of a Shraddh Bhoj in Kanchanpur village, near Bihta, fell ill after the meal, with children, the elderly, and youth among the affected. Some were hospitalized, while others were discharged after their conditions improved. Yadav visited the hospital to meet the patients and noted that over 40 individuals had fallen ill. The cause of the illness will be determined after testing the food served at the event. He extended his wishes for a swift recovery for all those affected.
