Purnia, March 24: The Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) has once again set a record by being the first to announce the 12th-grade results on Monday at 1:30 PM. This year, a total of 85.19% of students passed the examination.
Among the standout performers is Lucky Ansari, who achieved an impressive score of 478 marks in the Arts stream, securing the second position in the state.
In an interview with a news agency, Lucky expressed his joy, stating, “I scored 478 marks in the Bihar Intermediate examination and secured the second position in the state. This is a significant achievement. My entire family, including my parents, teachers, and siblings, are very happy.”
He further shared his aspirations, saying, “I want to become a teacher in the future and later prepare for some major examinations. My father works as a watch repairman on the street, and my mother is a cook at a school. I received full support from my family for my studies. Despite facing difficulties, I continued to work hard. I hope to keep progressing in the future.” Lucky added, “I want to first thank my parents for their support and then my offline teachers who guided me from the beginning.”
He mentioned that he dedicated 6-7 hours daily to self-study. “The student who secures the first position in the state receives ₹2 lakh and a laptop. The second rank comes with ₹1.5 lakh and a laptop. To cover my tuition expenses, I worked at a medical store for about five months,” he explained.
Lucky also revealed that he scored 462 out of 500 in his 10th-grade exams. “If I had received just one more mark in the practical exam, I would have secured the first position in the state this time,” he noted.
Lucky’s father expressed pride in his son’s achievement, saying, “I have always encouraged my children to study hard and move forward. Being from a poor family, we wanted to at least make our name known. All three of our children are educated. I am very happy with my son’s achievement.”
In the Bihar Board 12th examination, Aditya Prakash Aman from Samastipur topped the Science stream with 481 marks, while Aditi Kumari secured 480 marks in Commerce. Nishoo Kumari from Gaya achieved the highest rank in the Arts stream with 479 marks. Notably, a total of 26 students made it to the top five across all streams, with 19 of them being girls.
