Chandigarh, March 28: A golden opportunity has emerged for those aspiring to join the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT). The institute has officially announced recruitment for various positions, including Junior IT Assistant.
NIELIT is looking to fill six positions, which include one Resource Person – Accounts and one Junior Resource Person – Accounts, along with two Database Administrators and two Junior IT Assistants.
The application process for these positions has begun in offline mode, with the last date to apply set for April 2. Eligible candidates are advised to submit their application forms within the stipulated time frame.
Applicants must possess a graduation degree in Commerce/Finance or an equivalent subject, along with a BE/BTech (CS/IT), MCA/MS in CS/IT, or an ‘A’ or ‘B’ level course from NIELIT/DOEACC. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of six months of computer course training and relevant experience as per the requirements.
The maximum age limit for candidates is set between 35 to 45 years, with age relaxation applicable for candidates from reserved categories as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a walk-in interview, typing test, written test, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹15,178 to ₹35,000, depending on the position.
Candidates filling out the application form must pay the prescribed application fee, which is ₹700 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and ₹350 for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/PWD/Women candidates.

Download the form and print it out.
