Mumbai, September 27 (Daily Kiran) : In a recent promotional event for the streaming series “The Revolutionaries,” actor Bhuvan Bam, who portrays revolutionary Ras Bihari Bose, shared insights about his YouTube journey. Speaking alongside colleagues Nikhil Advani, Pratibha Ranta, Rohit Saraf, and Gurfateh Pirzada, Bam opened up about the challenges and lessons he encountered along the way.
Bam emphasized the importance of staying true to oneself, stating, “If you get caught up in what the world says about you, you’ll never break free.” He recounted how, at the outset of his YouTube career, many advised him against pursuing it, claiming it had no future. “You haven’t ventured into that space, so you don’t know,” he recalled telling them. He noted that he needed encouragement from those who believed in him, saying, “I needed someone to tell me, ‘Go for it, we’re with you.’”
His goal, he explained, is to entertain people and evoke a range of emotions, from laughter to tears. Throughout his YouTube experience, he has gained a clearer understanding of right and wrong. “My passion has always helped me,” he said, reflecting on how he learned these lessons through his journey.
Bam also acknowledged that he faced skepticism and a lack of support from some quarters. “No one ever told me I was doing the right thing,” he remarked, highlighting that he learned about discernment through those experiences. He advised others to never consider themselves superior to anyone else.
He concluded with a reminder that circumstances can change unexpectedly. “It’s a mistake to think things can’t go on without us,” he said. “Everyone learns these three words at different stages of life. I have focused on passion and doing the right thing, and I still have areas to improve on as I continue to learn.”
