Beijing, August 16: On August 14, the China Media Group launched the first Azerbaijani language program, “Xi Jinping’s Cultural Spirit,” in Baku. The program was later aired on Azerbaijan’s national television and broadcasting company’s Culture Channel, as well as on ARB24 television.
The program features vivid stories that reflect Chinese President Xi Jinping’s commitment to the preservation and development of culture. It emphasizes his profound belief that “a prosperous nation thrives because of its culture, and a strong nation is strong due to its culture.” The show also highlights his deep affection for the continuity of cultural heritage and historical traditions. It aims to explain the core elements of Xi Jinping’s cultural thoughts and the rich cultural foundation of his governance philosophy to international audiences.
Chinese Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Lu Mei, noted that in recent years, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Ilham Heydar oglu Aliyev, the China-Azerbaijan relationship has seen significant and rapid improvements. It has reached its highest level in the history of their comprehensive strategic partnership. The broadcast of “Xi Jinping’s Cultural Spirit” in Azerbaijan not only symbolizes a new phase in media cooperation between China and Azerbaijan but also aids Azerbaijani audiences in deeply understanding the core elements of Xi Jinping’s cultural thoughts and embracing the rich cultural heritage embedded in his governance style.
