Mumbai, September 29 (Daily Kiran) : Actress Aditi Dev Sharma stars alongside Daksh Puri in the television show ‘Shayad Yahi Hai Pyaar.’ In a recent interview, Aditi opened up about the show’s unique narrative, the theme of age differences, and her on-screen chemistry with her co-star.
The story revolves around Preeti, played by Aditi, a 35-year-old woman who finds love with Aarav, portrayed by Daksh, after escaping a toxic relationship.
When asked about her character’s serious demeanor contrasted with Daksh’s playful portrayal, Aditi noted, “We often assume that 25-year-olds are a bit mischievous while those at 35 are more composed. Aarav’s life is likely to be fun, and his entry into Preeti’s life will bring about some changes. Preeti will embark on a journey of self-discovery, questioning her behavior and choices.”
Aditi further commented on the love angle of the show, stating, “Friendship often serves as the foundation for many stories, and undoubtedly, many narratives revolve around it. However, it’s essential to consider how we present our story. Our show is a remake of a K-drama, and I believe we have crafted something special. We’ve put in significant effort to appeal to our middle-class audience, where family members often have differing perspectives, influenced by their surroundings.”
Daksh Puri also praised their director for adding a romantic flair to the series.
Aditi expressed admiration for her co-star Kunal Karan Kapoor, who plays Gaurav, noting that he is doing a commendable job despite currently being unwell.
