Mumbai, September 29 (Daily Kiran) : Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha has revealed that he began learning music nearly three years ago. He has had a passion for music since childhood, making it a significant part of his life.
Recently, Sinha launched a new song titled “Barish Aur Tum” under his music label, Banaras Beat. The track features vocals by Abdul Sheikh and evokes emotions of nostalgia, light romance, and introspection.
Sharing his personal connection to this musical venture, Sinha stated, “There’s an interesting saying: if you want to do something but don’t act on it, then it’s just a dream. But if you want to do something and put in the effort, that’s ambition.”
He elaborated that the idea for Banaras Beat originated about 7-8 years ago. His love for music runs deep, prompting him to start formal music lessons three years ago. “Music has always been my passion. It plays continuously in my room,” he added.
The music video for “Barish Aur Tum” has a unique style, employing a blend of AI and human-created animation techniques. It features serene mountain landscapes alongside urban scenes, illustrating how even a gentle rain shower can bring back cherished memories of loved ones.
The concept for Banaras Beat took shape around eight years ago, leading Sinha to assemble a dedicated team of musicians and creators to realize his vision. The label aims to promote independent and original music beyond traditional film songs.
Regarding the theme of the new song, the producers stated that rain slows down the pace of life, leaving behind memories and emotions for those close to us. “Barish Aur Tum” is a heartfelt expression of love and longing, capturing the essence of how rain can evoke memories from the past.
The song is now available on major music streaming platforms.
