Arvind Rajbhar Criticizes Samajwadi Party Amid Internal Strife and Corruption Allegations

Lucknow, June 22: Arvind Rajbhar, the National General Secretary of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), has launched a sharp attack on the Samajwadi Party (SP), claiming it is grappling with internal dissent and political contradictions. He accused SP President Akhilesh Yadav of corruption, alleged silence on Muslim issues, and engaging in vote bank politics.

Rajbhar stated that during the SP’s tenure, not only was there the Riverfront scam, but several other alleged scams also occurred, which could reveal significant findings if investigated impartially. He asserted that a thorough investigation into the SP’s time in power would uncover many cases that could implicate individuals within the then ruling establishment.

Referring to the Riverfront project, he mentioned that questions had previously been raised regarding the use of public funds, and the state government had conducted an inquiry. Rajbhar alleged that the slow pace of the investigation could be politically motivated.

In response to criticisms of the SP regarding alleged financial irregularities related to donations for the Ram Temple, Rajbhar emphasized that any investigation should be based on facts and evidence. He warned that hasty actions could lead to innocent individuals being implicated, urging investigation agencies to work with seriousness and impartiality. He noted that the Chief Minister had stated that the investigation would be completed within a set timeframe, ensuring transparency.

When SP leaders claimed that several SBSP members wanted to join their party, Rajbhar dismissed these assertions as entirely fabricated. He stated that his party is organizationally strong and preparing for elections independently. He emphasized that as his party manages ticket distribution and organizational expansion, its leaders have no need to join another party. Rajbhar claimed that SBSP’s grassroots support has strengthened and will be evident in the 2027 elections.

Rajbhar asserted that in previous electoral battles, SBSP played a crucial role in bolstering the SP. He predicted that the political landscape would change dramatically in 2027, potentially forcing the SP to confront results similar to past elections. He advised SP leadership to focus more on their organization and worker behavior, as the public no longer makes decisions based solely on slogans.

Defending Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s law and order policy, Rajbhar stated that strict actions have been taken against crime and mafia operations in the state. He noted that the government’s “zero tolerance” policy has instilled fear of the law among major criminals and mafia figures. The government is committed to maintaining peace and order and will not tolerate any form of chaos.

Responding to Akhilesh Yadav’s statement that the SP and Congress are preparing for all 403 assembly seats, Rajbhar highlighted the contradictory statements from the SP regarding Congress, raising questions about opposition unity. He acknowledged the SP’s right to prepare for elections but asserted that the final decision would be based on development and good governance.

Supporting allegations made by Congress MPs against Akhilesh Yadav regarding Muslim issues, Rajbhar stated that these concerns have been raised for a long time. He accused the SP of talking about Muslim votes while neglecting critical issues like education, employment, and social development. He insisted that if the opposition genuinely cares for any community, it should address real issues rather than limit its concerns to electoral support.

Rajbhar also commented on the Bahujan Samaj Party leader’s strategy to reach out to upper caste communities. He noted that social equations in Uttar Pradesh politics are continuously changing, with all parties striving to connect with new demographics. He claimed that the public is now prioritizing development, security, and good governance over caste-based slogans. He asserted that the NDA government has met the public’s expectations, which is why trust in the coalition remains strong.

Rajbhar also criticized the SP’s Brahmin conferences, stating that showing love for various communities during elections is an old strategy of opposition parties. He pointed out that merely organizing conferences does not garner political support; continuous public engagement and organizational work are essential. He expressed confidence that the people of Uttar Pradesh will vote based on development, law and order, and welfare schemes in the 2027 elections. He believes that the NDA coalition will return to power with a significant majority.
