New Delhi, September 5 (Daily Kiran) : Officers from the Army War College, undergoing the Higher Command Course-55 in Mhow, visited the Western Command Headquarters on September 5. Their objective was to gain insights into the command’s operational environment, strategic priorities, and combat readiness.
During the visit, the officials were briefed on various aspects of operations, logistics, and administrative arrangements within the Western Command. A special briefing by the Kharga Corps provided in-depth information about region-specific challenges on the Western front, multi-domain readiness, and measures to maintain continuous combat capability.
The program included a question-and-answer session that fostered open and meaningful discussions between the officials and military leadership. Topics covered included current operational conditions, emerging security trends, and future preparedness, enhancing the officers’ understanding of these critical issues.
Lieutenant General Pushpendra Singh, AVSM, SM, the Army Commander of the Western Command, emphasized the need for future military leaders to be agile, innovative, and fully prepared for modern warfare challenges. He noted that critical thinking, rapid adoption of new technologies, joint operations, and adaptability in leadership styles will be essential for success in future conflicts.
General Singh urged the officers to continuously learn and update their skills in light of evolving warfare dynamics and technological advancements, enabling them to effectively address any situation.
