Paniapat, May 28: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made a significant organizational change by appointing Archana Gupta as the new president of Haryana BJP. This decision has sparked joy among party workers and supporters, who celebrated by distributing sweets.
In a conversation with reporters following her appointment, Archana Gupta expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, National President Nitin Naveen, Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, and the entire leadership for promoting a woman to this position.
She emphasized that the BJP’s decision to place a woman at the helm of Haryana’s organization demonstrates the party’s commitment to women’s empowerment. Gupta pointed out that during the passage of the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, opposition parties, including Congress, failed to support women’s rights.
She referenced the situation of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal, highlighting the consequences of not advocating for women’s rights. Gupta stated that the BJP is dedicated to advancing women’s representation and ensuring equality. She also expressed her gratitude to the top leadership and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, affirming the strength of the BJP organization in Haryana and her commitment to further strengthening it.
