Alok Singh Appointed President of Bihar National Lok Morcha Amid Organizational Changes

Patna, June 7: Significant organizational changes took place in the Bihar National Lok Morcha on Sunday. Alok Singh has been appointed as the new president of the party. Additionally, Prashant Pankaj and Subhash Chandravanshi have been named as the executive state presidents, while Himanshu Patel has been appointed as the general secretary.

This announcement was made by party leader Upendra Kushwaha during an organizational event. Alok Singh had previously held the position of president as well.

Kushwaha stated that the National Lok Morcha is committed to strengthening its organization across Bihar. The party is focused on principles of internal democracy, ethical politics, and transparency. A strategy is being rapidly implemented to fortify the organization at the booth level.

The party claims that its membership drive is consistently successful. According to Kushwaha, the membership of the National Lok Morcha has exceeded 2.2 million. He clearly articulated that the party is a strong partner in the Bihar government and will continue to maintain this position with vigor.

He emphasized, “We are in the NDA and will remain so.” Kushwaha explained that these changes were made to further strengthen the party. He instructed the newly appointed officials to expand the party and engage more workers.

A large number of party workers attended the convention. They expressed that former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son, Nishant Kumar, should have been brought into politics much earlier to preserve Nitish Kumar’s political legacy and the JDU. Kushwaha openly demanded that Nishant Kumar should not only be a cabinet minister but also the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar.
