Allegations of School Jihad in Mumbai: Kirit Somaiya Claims 164 Illegal Schools Operate in the City

Mumbai, April 19: Kirit Somaiya, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has made serious allegations regarding ‘School Jihad’ and ‘Land Jihad’ occurring in Mumbai. He claims that 164 schools are operating illegally in the city, with 152 of these run by a Muslim land mafia. These schools lack municipal approval and occupancy certificates.

During a press conference at his office, Somaiya stated, “Mumbai has seen corporate jihad, land jihad, coaching classes jihad, and love jihad. Now, a new jihad has emerged: school jihad.”

He alleged that these illegal schools are primarily located in areas such as Govandi, Malad, and Kurla, which he referred to as ‘mini Bangladesh.’

Somaiya reported that he personally inspected 12 schools over the weekend, discovering illegal constructions on the sites of several religious places and Hindu temples.

He remarked, “These mafias are encroaching on government land and jeopardizing children’s futures. All this information has come to light only after the BJP came to power in the municipal corporation.”

Somaiya announced that action against these illegal schools would begin within the next two weeks. He also indicated that police action would be taken against the involved mafias.

He mentioned a conspiracy to lure girls under the guise of coaching classes, stating that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) is gradually uncovering the details. “It is our duty to ensure justice for the victimized families and provide them with reassurance,” he added.

Somaiya urged the municipal administration to shut down the illegal schools immediately and take strict legal action against the offenders. He emphasized that these schools are not only illegal but also serve as a means to encroach on city land and promote a communal agenda.
