Lucknow, March 30: Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya have labeled the recent rally of Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav in Dadri as a complete failure.
Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak stated that no matter how hard the SP leader tries, the public has not forgotten his tenure. Therefore, Akhilesh Yadav’s efforts will not succeed in Uttar Pradesh. He claimed that the Dadri visit was a total flop, evidenced by the empty chairs at the rally. Despite gathering workers from a hundred assembly constituencies, many seats remained vacant.
Pathak criticized Yadav’s vision, asserting that it revolves around “goonda raj,” corruption, and casteism. He stated that the SP is merely a “Family Development Authority.” No matter how many rallies Yadav holds, the era of “goonda raj,” corruption, and nepotism is long over. These rallies are merely nominal; they lack genuine public engagement, and the public has not forgotten the SP’s past actions. Many children were orphaned in the fires of riots, and countless mothers lost their children. Daughters were left unsafe, and sons had their rights taken away. The public will never forget that dark era of looting and abduction.
The Deputy CM emphasized that the current Uttar Pradesh government is focused on good governance, service, dedication, respect, and policies aimed at the welfare of the poor. Uttar Pradesh is rapidly advancing on the path of development with unprecedented achievements. The Noida that the SP talks about was once feared; it was our government that brought it into the mainstream of development, freeing it from the shadows of superstition. The Bharatiya Janata Party is poised to form the government for the third time in Uttar Pradesh, backed by the public’s blessings and trust.
Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya remarked that the SP’s Dadri rally was not a “rally of goodwill” but a “rally of ill-will.” It attempted to remind people of a chaotic period when law and order were in question, criminals were emboldened, and common citizens felt unsafe. The appeasement politics of Akhilesh Yadav resurfaced, reminiscent of the time when the state was plunged into “chaos and insecurity.” This rally sought to revive the dark chapter of SP’s rule from 2012 to 2017, which the public has clearly rejected.
