Firozabad, June 13: Lakshmi Narayan Chaudhary, a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, has responded sharply to the statements made by Akhilesh Yadav, the national president of the Samajwadi Party. Chaudhary claimed that Yadav’s courage is faltering ahead of the UP elections, which is why he is now calling for all opposition parties to unite to stop the BJP.
Akhilesh Yadav has asserted that if the situation in Uttar Pradesh mirrors that of Bengal, future elections could become challenging. He has once again leveled serious allegations of ‘vote theft.’
In response to Yadav’s comments, Minister Chaudhary pointed out that when Akhilesh Yadav won from Kannauj, there were no allegations of theft. Similarly, when his wife, Dimple Yadav, won the Lok Sabha elections, accusations of ‘vote theft’ did not arise. Even when a party MP won in Ayodhya, there were no claims of electoral fraud. However, when the BJP wins and garners public support, accusations of ‘vote theft’ emerge. This indicates that Akhilesh Yadav is already fearful ahead of the UP elections.
During a media interaction in Firozabad, Minister Chaudhary also discussed Prime Minister Modi’s twelve-year tenure, highlighting historical decisions made during this period.
He praised the Yogi government for organizing the Kumbh Mela on a grand scale, noting that while it previously attracted hundreds of thousands, over 600 million devotees attended for the sacred bath this time.
Chaudhary took a jab at Congress MP Rahul Gandhi regarding the central government’s Ujjwala scheme, stating that people do not take Gandhi’s comments seriously. He remarked that what Gandhi says is entirely up to him.
Addressing controversial remarks made by Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut about PM Modi’s twelve-year tenure, Chaudhary questioned whether only Aurangzeb was born in Gujarat, ignoring the birth of Mahatma Gandhi. He emphasized that not many pay attention to such statements.
