Rajbhar Critiques Akhilesh Yadavs Foreign Travels, Urges Focus on Uttar Pradesh Tourism

Lucknow, June 13: Om Prakash Rajbhar, the national president of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party and a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, has sharply criticized Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav for his foreign trips. Rajbhar suggested that if Yadav wanted to travel, he should have visited places like Kashi, Ayodhya, Mathura, Naimisharanya, or the revered Vindhyavasini temple. Such visits could boost tourism in the state and provide employment opportunities for local traders, hotel operators, flower and sweet vendors, and residents.

Rajbhar accused Yadav of preferring trips to London and Paris over exploring domestic tourist spots. He expressed his views on the social media platform X, stating, “If you wanted to travel, you could have gone to Kashi, Ayodhya, or Mathura and paid your respects at the temples. Your visit would have benefited local businesses and kept the homes of poor flower and sweet vendors warm. Small hotels and transport services would thrive, and media coverage would enhance Uttar Pradesh’s tourism.”

He further questioned Yadav’s affinity for foreign destinations, saying, “It seems you have a penchant for London and Paris! What kind of Qawwali do you listen to in London? I hear there are many Pakistanis in Redbridge, and you, being an ’emerging Qawwal,’ might be training there. It must be a unique experience! Why not showcase your talent in Lucknow someday?”

Rajbhar addressed Yadav directly, advising him to explore the tourism sites in India and Uttar Pradesh. He emphasized that the era of Congress and Samajwadi Party dominance is over, and a new India and Uttar Pradesh have emerged. “From the Himalayas to the Indian Ocean, from Kashi and Ayodhya to the forts of Rajasthan and the clouds of Meghalaya, there are numerous tourist destinations with facilities that exceed your standards, Akhilesh. If you start appreciating your country’s culture, pilgrimage sites, history, and diversity, you might find a lifetime insufficient.”

He concluded by criticizing Yadav’s priorities, stating, “You seem more interested in sitting in an AC room, tweeting, and shedding crocodile tears for the poor. But when it comes to travel, it’s always London and Paris. Instead of going abroad, connect with your roots. First, explore your own state before venturing into the world. And if you do travel, please teach your unruly aides some manners, as they often misbehave with local vendors and shopkeepers.”
