Akhilesh Yadav Disrespects Sanatan Culture, Claims Jayveer Singh

Lucknow, March 19: The recent incident in Varanasi, where non-vegetarian biryani was served on a boat in the Ganges, has sparked controversy once again. Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav has expressed support for 14 Muslim youths involved in the event, questioning what the issue is with breaking fast on a boat. His remarks have ignited political tensions in Uttar Pradesh, prompting a strong response from BJP leaders.

Minister Jayveer Singh stated that Akhilesh Yadav should apologize to the nation for his stance. He emphasized that the Ganges is deeply connected to the sentiments of the people and is a lifeline for the country. Singh highlighted the sacred significance of the river in Sanatan culture, asserting that standing with those who commit impure acts is merely a strategy for gaining votes. He accused Yadav of directly attacking Sanatan culture and disrespecting it.

In a related event, President Droupadi Murmu participated in the installation worship of the ‘Shri Ram Yantra’ in Ayodhya. Minister Jayveer Singh remarked that after a long hiatus of 500 years filled with sacrifice and dedication, Lord Ram has returned to his original home through the efforts of PM Modi. He extended a warm welcome to the President for her presence at this significant ceremony in Uttar Pradesh.

Singh further noted that the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh has set new records through religious sites, attracting millions of pilgrims. He mentioned the government’s commitment to creating a one trillion economy, with the tourism department playing a crucial role. The government is operating under a zero-tolerance policy, ensuring law and order, and implementing welfare schemes transparently for the benefit of the people.

Regarding Nitish Kumar’s nomination as the national president of JDU, he offered congratulations, acknowledging the new beginning for the elected Rajya Sabha member.

On the resignation of Congress MP Pradyut Bordoloi from Assam, Singh interpreted it as a clear indication that the public sentiment is leaning towards the BJP, predicting that the party will gain the love and support of the people in Assam.
