New Delhi, March 25: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again emerged as the world’s most popular leader. According to a recent survey by the American data analytics firm Morning Consult, Modi boasts an impressive approval rating of 68%, securing his position at the top among global leaders.
The survey, conducted from March 2 to March 8, shows Modi significantly ahead of his international counterparts. This ranking reflects his sustained popularity and strong leadership, even after three consecutive years in power.
In contrast, U.S. President Donald Trump failed to make the top ten list, garnering only a 39% approval rating.
Following Modi, the second position is shared by Switzerland’s President Guy Parmelin and South Korea’s President Lee Jae-myung, both receiving approval ratings of 62%.
The leaders of the Czech Republic and Argentina occupy the third and fourth spots, with approval ratings of 57% and 56%, respectively.
Other global leaders fared poorly, with UK’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer receiving just 24% and France’s President Emmanuel Macron trailing even further at 17%.
Notably, PM Modi recently achieved a historic milestone in Indian politics, completing a total of 8,931 days in leadership, making him the longest-serving head of government in the country.
Morning Consult’s ratings are based on a seven-day moving average of opinions from adults across various countries.
