AIIMS Rewari Opens Applications for 15 Faculty Positions, Age Limit Set at 50 Years

Rewari, October 9 (Daily Kiran) : The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rewari, Haryana, has announced a significant opportunity for those seeking employment in the medical field. The institute is recruiting for 15 faculty positions across various departments through direct recruitment.

The available positions include one Associate Professor in Anesthesiology, two Associate Professors in Anatomy, one Assistant Professor in Biochemistry, one Associate and one Assistant Professor in General Medicine, one Associate and one Assistant Professor in General Surgery, one Associate and one Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology, one Assistant Professor in Orthopedics, one Assistant Professor in Pediatrics, one Assistant Professor in Physiology, one Associate Professor in Psychiatry, and one Associate Professor in Radiology.

Out of the 15 positions, there are eight for Associate Professors and seven for Assistant Professors. The application process began on October 8 and will remain open until November 7. Interested candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline.

Applicants must possess an MD/MS degree in the relevant specialty from a recognized institution, along with three years of teaching or research experience in the respective field. The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 50 years, calculated as of the application submission deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.

Selection will be based on the screening of applications, followed by a written exam or interview. The monthly salary for selected candidates will range from ₹138,300 to ₹209,200 for Associate Professors and ₹101,500 to ₹167,400 for Assistant Professors, along with additional benefits.

Candidates must pay an application fee according to their ₹3,000 for General/OBC/EWS and ₹2,400 for SC/ST applicants. Those from the PWD category are exempt from the registration fee.
