Political Turmoil Erupts Over Operation Regime Change Sting in India
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami condemns Operation Regime Change sting, calling it a threat to national stability and democracy.

Dehradun, November 3 (Daily Kiran) : Political tensions are escalating across India in response to the BJP’s ‘Operation Regime Change’ sting operation. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken a strong stance on the matter, criticizing those behind the alleged conspiracy.
In a post shared on the social media platform X, Dhami condemned any attempts to destabilize the nation under the guise of democracy and freedom of expression. He stated, “No conspiracy aimed at undermining the peace, social harmony, and constitutional institutions of the country can be tolerated. The sting operation has revealed several serious aspects that threaten national stability.”
Dhami emphasized that the public is aware of the situation. He called for transparency in exposing efforts to incite chaos under the pretext of protest, tarnish the image of the police, and defame the democratic system. He insisted that those who jeopardize the nation’s unity and democratic values must be held accountable under the law.
Earlier, the BJP had shared a video on its official X handle, describing ‘Operation Regime Change’ as a significant revelation of a plot to incite unrest in the country. The party claimed, “Operation Regime Change… the biggest exposure of a conspiracy to ignite the nation. The first face of this horrific scheme is Shafwan Kuddakan!”
The BJP accused the sting operation of clearly demonstrating how individuals planned to use girls as shields to damage the image of the Delhi police, discredit the elected government, and plunge the country into chaos. The party asserted that the true nature of those pretending to safeguard democracy has now been unveiled, stating, “This is not protest; it is a direct war against the country.”
