Mumbai, August 2: Television actress Aditi Sharma has filed a domestic violence case against her husband, actor Abhinay Vidyanand Kaushik, and other family members. The complaint includes allegations of mental harassment and the alleged misappropriation of her jewelry.
On July 30, 2026, the Goregaon police registered a First Information Report (FIR) based on Aditi Sharma’s complaint against her husband, Abhinay Kaushik (36), mother-in-law Urmila Kaushik (65), and sister-in-law Kirti Kaushik (29).
In her complaint, Aditi alleges that she endured prolonged physical and mental abuse. She also claims that her jewelry was allegedly stolen.
According to the FIR, the incidents of harassment and theft occurred at the couple’s Goregaon residence between November 12, 2024, and March 9, 2025.
Aditi mentioned in her complaint that they initially lived together in a relationship before marrying in the same Goregaon flat. She provided a detailed account of the jewelry and other items that were allegedly taken from her.
The Goregaon police have initiated an investigation into the matter, assigning it to a designated police inspector.
Aditi Sharma has worked across television, films, and digital platforms, gaining most of her recognition in the TV industry. She began her career in modeling and music videos, later establishing a successful presence in television.
