Actress Shubhangi Atre Raises Alarm Over Environmental Pollution

Mumbai, June 3: Renowned television actress Shubhangi Atre has expressed her deep concerns regarding environmental issues. In a recent interview, she discussed several critical topics related to the environment. She warned that if humans do not change their habits soon, the balance of nature could be severely disrupted in the near future.

While speaking, Atre stated, “The biggest problem today is that humans have forgotten how to coexist harmoniously with nature. In the past, people utilized nature according to their needs, but the situation has changed drastically. Now, natural resources are being overused, which is evident in every part of the Earth.”

She emphasized that humans are not only consuming resources but are also depleting them at an alarming rate. “Forests are continuously diminishing, leading to the loss of natural habitats for wildlife. Many species are in danger, and weather patterns are no longer consistent. Sometimes we experience extreme heat, while at other times, there are sudden heavy rains. All of this indicates a significant imbalance in nature that cannot be ignored.”

Atre also highlighted plastic pollution as a serious threat. “Plastic is a poison that is gradually harming the entire ecosystem. It is polluting the earth and water sources, and the most affected are the animals that do not realize how dangerous it is for them. Often, animals mistake plastic for food, leading to fatal consequences. To combat this, people must change their daily habits. If pollution continues, the world will lose its natural tranquility.”

She noted that environmental protection can be achieved through small daily efforts. “When a person stays connected to nature, they become more responsible towards their lifestyle. This connection makes individuals sensitive to environmental issues and inspires them to make the right choices.”

Ahead of World Environment Day, Atre expressed her worries for the future. “If pollution continues to rise, the world could lose its natural beauty and peace. Nature is not limited to trees and rivers; it is also linked to human mental and physical health. A safe environment allows humans to live healthy and happy lives.”

Atre urged people to take time from their fast-paced lives to understand and appreciate nature’s significance. “We must learn to respect nature. If we protect the Earth, trees, rivers, and wildlife, nature will continue to provide us with a safe and balanced life.”
