Action Against Ram Mandir Donation Case Offenders Confirmed, Dinesh Sharma Assures Fair Investigation

Lucknow, June 27: Dinesh Sharma, a Rajya Sabha MP from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has targeted the opposition while defending the central and Uttar Pradesh governments regarding the Ram Mandir donation case. He stated that action is being taken against anyone found guilty in this matter.

In an interview, Sharma emphasized that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has already made it clear that the investigation will be entirely impartial. Alok Kumar from the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) also echoed the call for a fair inquiry. He criticized the opposition for attempting to tarnish the temple’s image without any solid evidence. “If anyone has concrete proof of wrongdoing, it should be made public. Accusations made solely for political gain are not in the interest of democracy,” he remarked.

Responding to Congress Parliamentary Party President Sonia Gandhi’s article regarding Gaza and Palestine, Sharma asserted that India’s foreign policy is balanced and pragmatic. He noted that India maintains good relations with both Palestine and Israel and cannot favor one side without affecting its other international relationships. India’s foreign policy has gained global acceptance, he added.

Sonia Gandhi’s article claimed that India is prioritizing closer ties with Israel over its traditional stance on Palestinian rights. She raised concerns about India’s current foreign policy regarding Gaza, which has been marred by significant destruction. Citing a United Nations report, she highlighted the dire situation in Gaza, where over 20,000 children have lost their lives and more than 44,000 have been injured.

On India-U.S. relations, Sharma stated that the ties between the two countries are continually strengthening. He mentioned that U.S. President Donald Trump has frequently praised India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The numerous highest civilian honors awarded to Modi by various nations reflect his global popularity.

Sharma concluded by noting that India is rapidly becoming a major investment hub, attracting foreign companies. The country’s growth rate is consistently rising, and under Modi’s leadership, India is progressing swiftly towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.
