Acharya Pramod Krishnam Calls for Resignation of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust Officials

Ghaziabad, June 23: Acharya Pramod Krishnam has urged all officials of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust to resign amid ongoing investigations into donation-related allegations. He emphasized that the trust’s integrity is crucial, as the Ram Temple holds immense significance for millions. Allegations of misappropriation have damaged public faith.

In an interview, Acharya Pramod Krishnam expressed concerns over the trust’s officials, stating that serious questions have been raised about their conduct. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple is a center of devotion for many, and the current situation has hurt the sentiments of countless devotees. He insisted that until justice is served, all officials should step down to uphold their moral responsibilities. “Justice is essential, but it is even more important that justice is seen to be done,” he remarked.

He appealed to the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh to accept the resignations of all trust officials and to reconstitute the trust.

Regarding the Bharat Tiwari case from Bihar, Acharya Pramod Krishnam stated that it is widely recognized as a fake encounter. He condemned the unlawful killings, asserting that no extrajudicial actions should be tolerated. “These are murders,” he said, stressing that all encounters should be scrutinized. He noted that if someone speaks out for societal welfare and is subsequently targeted, it constitutes a grave crime. He labeled Bharat Tiwari’s encounter as fake and highlighted a disturbing trend of targeting Brahmin youth.

Acharya Pramod Krishnam also expressed sorrow over the recent incident in Lucknow, calling it a failure of the system. He voiced concerns over the destruction occurring in the name of urban development and insisted that mere expressions of grief after such events are insufficient. A comprehensive plan must be established to prevent future incidents.
