Mumbai, March 15: Xiaomi has introduced its latest air conditioner, the Mijia Air Conditioner Energy Saving Pro, on its Youpin platform. This tower AC is available in two variants: a 2HP model priced at 4,699 yuan ($680) and a 3HP model priced at 5,499 yuan ($796).
Mijia Energy Saving Pro AC Specifications
The air conditioner features high-performance hardware, including a dual-row condenser, a 120mm cross-flow fan blade, and an efficient compressor for rapid and stable operation. It boasts a 10% larger heat-exchange area, enhancing energy efficiency with airflow of up to 1760 m³/h, cooling in just 30 seconds, and heating in 160 seconds.
This tower AC ensures even air distribution across large spaces with a 115-degree wide-angle airflow system. It supports multiple airflow modes, including canopy airflow for indirect cooling and carpet airflow for warm air circulation. The system can project airflow up to 13 meters, making it ideal for larger rooms and various layouts.
Xiaomi has designed this air conditioner to function in extreme conditions, with a heating range down to -35°C and cooling capability up to 65°C. It includes automatic cleaning for both units, along with smart features like dirt detection and filter blockage reminders to maintain hygiene, optimal airflow, and efficiency.
In terms of smart capabilities, the air conditioner supports Mijia app control and HyperOS Connect, allowing integration with Xiaomi smart home devices. Users can monitor status, perform remote diagnostics, and receive software updates through full-link OTA upgrades.
The air conditioner boasts a Super Level-1 energy efficiency rating, exceeding the Chinese standard Level-1 efficiency. It features Xiaomi’s Lingyun energy-saving algorithm, achieving an APF of 5.20 for the 2HP model and 5.31 for the 3HP model, with potential annual electricity savings of up to 540 yuan ($78).
